• Read GBCI’s ProProctor Tips and Guidance document for helpful tips

• Review GBCI and Prometric resources

• Download the ProProctor application

• Conduct a system readiness check

• Review the ProProctor Software Installation guides (Windows or Mac) to assess whether you have the necessary permission levels

• If you are using an employer-issued computer check with your employer’s IT department that you have the necessary permissions

• Save your “Appointment Confirmation” email sent by Prometric

• Save your 16-digit confirmation number and exam date and time

• Ensure your ID meets all four requirements and your first and last names are printed in Roman characters which exactly matches your exam registration

• Prepare your testing environment

• Check your internet connection: use an Ethernet cable for best connectivity

• Remember: only wired headphones are allowed

• Self-serve to reschedule: at least 4 days before your exam appointment
